Rather than weakening the skin barrier by disinfecting it, NUTRA COSMETICS aims to strengthen the skin’s natural microbiome.
Probiotic complexes stimulate keratinocytes to produce antimicrobial peptides and reinforce the barrier by increasing the expression of specific proteins in the stratum corneum and granular layer, while reducing colonisation by pathogenic bacteria. Sulphate- and paraben-free formulations, colour-protective structures and soothing ingredients such as calendula, aloe vera and jojoba together offer a medical-aesthetic approach.
